Cycle path

The Biševo island cycle path stretches on the macadam fire-fighting path and on the asphalt road to a smaller extent. The cycle path is some 17 km long. It stretches from Mezoporat to Polje, leading to Porat and Salbunara on the north and cape Gatula on the south. The bikes may be left at the stands near the Mezoporat, Porat and Salbunara ports, near Visitor Centre (Polje) and next to the coastal artillery battery at cape Gatula. When cycling the island, make sure you bring enough water and sun-protective equipment. The cycle path follows the walking trails and the geotrail. It offers amazing views of the fields, woods, garrigue and macchia of the island, as well as the endless open sea.
