The website https://bluecave-bisevo.com is partially compliant with the Act due to the non-compliances (non-accessible content) listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

– certain .pdf files contained in the publications are not entirely made by exporting from the Microsoft Office Word source file with the selection of accessibility options, but by scanning of the printed documents. More precisely, they are not accessible as they are not adequately prepared for screen readers;

– some  images and files do not have the appropriate textual description (alt text);

– .pdf files do not open in a new window (Tab) of the browser, and .doc and .ppt files are available as downloadable files exclusively.

Visitor Centre Modra Špilja – Biševo is working on addressing the above non‑compliances.

Disproportionate burden

With respect to all misalignments, Visitor Centre Modra Špilja – Biševo temporarily demands the exception due to disproportionate burden in line with Article 8. of the Act.

In line with the Article 3. of the Act, Visitor Centre Modra Špilja – Biševo classifies the .pdf files published prior to 23 September 2019 as archive files, so those files are exempted from the implementation of the Act.
